Count me in on the "reject aging" front. The only time I genuinely feel old is when I make comparisons with other people's lives. I don't focus too much on the pop culture of my youth, I just focus on what I think is good and entertaining. I've really been enjoying your bloggery, Rocky.

I haven't seen any of those 3 films/series, but I do find myself feeling old! I think that there's room for films/series set in our growing-up time of the '90s and '00s for sure. What is our "culture's place"? I was a senior in high school when I got my first cell phone, and was in college when you needed a college email address to sign up for Facebook. But cell phones and Facebook weren't as prevalent back then. I think we had the "joy" of growing up in simpler, less connected times, but still had the Internet, you know? I think to something like "A Goofy Movie," which obviously is very '90s. What would a "very '00s" movie look like? Great post, and I cannot wait for Beatles on your blog!
